It’s never too early to introduce children to the joys and rewards of YOGA. Our instructors use creative imagery, stories and games to encourage poses, illuminating the meanings of the poses named after mountains, trees, flowers, and animals. At the end of class, children wind down for a brief Savasana (relaxation pose), and then sit quietly reflecting on how they feel following the practice. Students and teachers always give each other the Namaste (Have a Glorious Day!) greeting, which further connects them, and promotes high regard and respect for the other.

This class is designed to be low impact (easy on the joints.) It builds cardiovascular endurance, using high to low intensity. Weights (light to moderate) are used for strength training. The foundation is established and the process builds to bring about the desired result. Eventually, every muscle will be worked, as the instructors challenge people to their safe limits. All fitness levels are welcome. We include our special ingredients within each of our programs: laughter and fun, positive reinforcement, and a high regard and respect for our clients.

All the important aspects of exercise are encompassed in Pilates. Originally it was taught predominately in the field of dance, and targeted the deep postural muscles, improving stability and improved muscle balance. Dancers in particular enjoyed the importance of correct body alignment and perfected overall posture; however, in recent years, the exercise and fitness world has come to recognize the importance of the simplified Pilates method and its benefits to all ages and all fitness levels.
Among its many benefits, it is particularly helpful to those who suffer from chronic back and/or neck pain, osteo-arthritis and osteoporosis, as well as stress-related illnesses.
Pilates is a safe and comfortable exercise program, which promotes improved posture, enhanced muscle strength, along with flexibility and lessened tension.

The class will consist of movements to improve posture, balance, self esteem, and body awareness. Our goal is to keep the metabolism working at a high rate for an extended period of time. Proper ways to stretch is also included. We use free weights, resistance bands and body weight as resistance. Open to all fitness levels.

If your pleasure is to dance while working your heart, Salsa is for you. The name "salsa" correctly describes the flavor of this dance: hot! Danced correctly, there's a lot of shakin', shimmying, and hip action going on. Don't be deterred—you can learn how to achieve all of this action. The basic step of salsa can be accomplished with less than 10 minutes of practice (for some). If you really want a GREAT ab workout, TRY SALSA!

This class is intense. The object of the kick boxing class is to get the heart rate at a high level for an extended period of time. The participants will be kicking and punching while keeping their hands above heart level, which increases the heart rate. The instructor will teach proper body position, technique, and focus. If you really want to burn calories, take the Kick Boxing class.

Tai Chi Chuan, which is pronounced “tie jee choo-on” is a low velocity, low-impact exercise program which has great appeal for all ages. The exercise combines slow, gentle, choreographed forms; dance-like forms often designed to mimic animal movements, and sometimes described as moving meditation.
Tai Chi originated with a Chinese martial artist over 700 years ago as a method of self-defense for monks. Since then, it has evolved into an art that exercises both the body and mind.
Claims made about the healing benefits of tai chi suggest it improves digestion, promotes relaxation, and decreases anxiety and depression; and the most recent research states that decided improvement in flexibility and balance takes place.
The goal of health oriented tai chi is the enhancement of body awareness and overall well-being.
